Final Fantasy VII

During the PlayStation Experience keynote Shinji Hashimoto, producer at Square Enix, announced that the 2012 pc port of Final Fantasy VII will be released on PlayStation 4 this Spring. Well, this was kind of a disappointment ... We already can buy the game on PSN (PS3, PSP, PS Vita), SE Store and Steam. Kotaku has called this 'proberly the worst troll in recent video game history'.

Final Fantasy XV

Last Friday Square Enix Presents featured the first Active Time Report with the latest news and footage of games that are currently in development. The first report was dedicated to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV.

The stream starts of with Shinji Hashimoto greeting everybody welcome. After that a message from Hajime Tabata is showed where he apologies for the delay of Final Fantasy Agito+, the PlayStation Vita version of the original game which was originally scheduled for release on 15 January 2015.

Next item is Final Fantasy Type-0 HD where footage is shown about the characters with French text and English voices (footage shown on Paris Games Week).

Final Fantasy Type-0

Square Enix has revealed a new trailer of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD called Enter the Fray to celebrate the opening of Paris Games Week. This trailer transports viewers to the dynamic and enthralling world of Orience, where a turbulent war of nations threatens to tear the land apart.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 17 March 2015 in North America and 20 March 2015 in Europe.

Final Fantasy Type-0

Square Enix has released an English subtitled version of the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Flash Talk Show that was live streamed at the beginning of this month. In this 50 minutes during live stream Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV announces new information about both games.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released in March 2015 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and comes with a voucher of a demo of Final Fantasy XV called Episode Duscae.

Final Fantasy XV

Tetsuya Nomura has been replaced by Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy Type-0 (HD), as director of Final Fantasy XV. The reason for this switch is that Tetsuya Nomura has been working on the original concept for the story and universe and he has also created the characters. Since the development of Final Fantasy XV has come so far, Nomura’s work is pretty much all in place. He has been moved on to work on other projects and make games that only he could do, like Kingdom Hearts III.

The special playable demo that will be available for download with the launch of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is called Final Fantasy XV - Episode Duscae and takes place near the beginning of the game. Only certain elements will be different from the final game, since this is a demo and Square Enix wants you to get hands on with a unique first-play experience that will be able to give you a better feeling for the game as a whole.

With this announcements Square Enix has also revealed the Tokyo Game Show 2014 of Final Fantasy XV. Enjoy!
