December 2005

Here you can find news items that were posted on Hell and Heaven Net in the past.

Recently Square Enix has announced on their PlayOnline website the multiplayer fee of Dirge of Cerberus. One month will cost 760 yen (about $6.50 USD/€5.50 EUR) and another 100 yen per character (about $0.80 USD/€0.70 EUR).

From the Hell and Heaven Net staff we all wish you a Merry Chirstmas! You can expect no updates the next 2 days, so I can spend more time on other things like playing Final Fantasy XI and my family.

Kingdom Hearts II

Today the Japanese folks finally have the chance to play Kingdom Hearts II themselfs. It's been released there!
Oh, and Square-Enix has updated their Japanese KH2 website with some new stuff.

» Official Website

The release in the US and Europe is expected in March, so you'll have to wait 3 months, unless you're gonna import the game and learn Japanese.

For people asking why they can't download the roms. They are temporary offline due to the huge amount of bandwidth they use. HHN has 60 GB bandwidth a month and on the 18th of December it used ¾ of the total bandwidth already. I rather put them offline then the site to be down a couple of days due to the bandwidth limit being exceeded.
The roms will be back hopefully at begin 2006. Maybe they won't, cause I think people are hotlinking to them, and I hate that.

Square Enix has revealed some new details regarding its upcoming gun action RPG Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. The game will not only tell the story of protagonist Vincent Valentine after the events of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but also explain the remaining riddles of Vincent's past. In the game's tutorial mode, players will even be able to play as a young Vincent (who back then was still a member of the Turks).

During his new adventure, Vincent will face off with one particularly nasty type of Deepground Soldier. In addition to a heavy body armor, these foes wield bazookas, machine guns, swords and multiple other weapons. Today's update also revealed a new character. Nero is a mysterious Deepground soldier whose face is bandaged. His body radiates a strange dark aura.
