Square Enix has revealed the Jump Festa trailer of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

In the long trailer there's a lot of Japanese talking which I don't understand, but if you look at the video closely you'll see the legs of Summoner Yuna (at 4:37) which will be one of the new characters in the game.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy will be released in Japan on 3 March 2011.

Square Enix has adjusted their profit forecast for this fiscal year due to the delayed releases of the PlayStation 3 release of Final Fantasy XIV and the new game in the Dues Ex series.

The company has cut their profit forecast from 12 billion yen($ 142.5 million / € 107.9 million) to 1 billion yen ($ 11.9 million / € 9 million) which is a decrease with more than 90%.

In celebration of 20,000 followers on the Japanese Square Enix Members twitter producer Shinji Hashimoto announced that Chrono Cross will be coming to the Japanese PlayStation Network soon.

Chrono Cross, which is the sequel to Chrono Trigger, was released in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in North America. The game was never released in Europe.

It's yet to be announced if the game will be released in North America and Europe.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine V-Jump Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy IV will get another remake, this time on the PlayStation Portable.

This time it won't be just the remake, but it will also contain Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (the mobile/WiiWare game) and a new scenerio between the two games. The pack will be called Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection.

Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection is due for release in Japan in Spring 2011.

Final Fantasy XIV

Yoichi Wada, president of Square Enix, has announced today that they offer their sincerest apologies to the fans for the lack of quality that Final Fantasy XIV currently has. To improve that they've made changes to the developer team.

Naoki Yoshida is the new director and producer of the game, replacing Hiromichi Tanaka who has taken full responsibility and has stepped down. He continues to support the development team, who also have been changed.

The PlayStation 3 version, which was played for a March release, has been delayed with an unknown time. The free trail period has been extended again till the team has provided a plan that outlines a level of enjoyment that will satisfy both the team and the fans.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump a new characters has been revealed for Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy. Meet Laguna Loire from Final Fantasy VIII!

Laguna Loire is the temporary character you play through flashbacks who is a member of the Galbadian Army and his weapon is the machine gun. According to the scan he can use it while running and as extra he features a rocket luncher.

Square Enix has announced that 4 PlayStation Portable games will be released in Europe in early 2011.

The first game that will be released in February 2011 is Lord of Arcana, a new action game where up to 4 players can team-up to slay the darkest daemons. Arriving shortly after that is Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, a remake from the PSone game that was released back in 1995.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, the sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy will hit Europe as third and The 3rd Birthday will be the last game to be released this spring.

All games, except Lord of Arcana, will have a special edition. Full details and exact release date will be announced soon.

Square Enix has announced that they'll release a soundtrack called Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep & 358/2 Days bundled with the music from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep and Re:coded.

The soundtrack will be released in Japan on 2 February 2011 and will also feature music from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix (which was announced last September). From that game the Japanese box recently has been released.
