Here you can find news items that were posted on Hell and Heaven Net in the past.

Square Enix has confirmed to VG247 this afternoon that Final Fantasy XIII will appear at E3 this year.

“There’s going to be more things happening for XIII at E3,” said a rep. “That’s all I can say at the moment. And throughout the year there’s more things planned as well, which should shed more light on the release timings.”

The news comes after a story saying FF Versus XIII had been put on hold to assist in the development of FFXIII was proven to be incorrect.

Confirmation the game will show colours at the show will come as great relief both to fans and Sony alike.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

The day has finally arrived, the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII across Europe and other PAL territories on the PlayStation Portable. Crisis Core is the prequel of Final Fantasy VII. You play as Zack, a 2nd Class SOLDIER who really wants to become 1st. On the way you meet familiar faces, like Yuffie, Cloud and of course Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy XV

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly contains an interview with Tetsuya Nomura which surprisingly, actually contains some new information regarding the Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation. Of course it isn't the nice kind of surprise as it seems Final Fantasy Versus XIII's development has been put on hold. If only I was joking.

According to Nomura, the development of the compilation is having some troubles. Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been put on hold so the team can help with the development of Final Fantasy XIII as it's their number one priority. However the designers and artists will still be concentrating on working on the artwork and visuals for Versus. Final Fantasy Agito XIII is still in the early stages of development and Hajime Tabata, the director is now writing the entire synopsis himself which involves a huge timeline.

You could also see this in a disappointing way as well. Nomura says that although there will be the DKΣ3713 event in August, there will be more information at TGS in October. This implies that we won't be having any information at all until DKΣ3713 so E3 may not feature Final Fantasy XIII. I suppose we're used to waiting.

UPDATE: This report is false and Square Enix said to Eurogamer that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is right on schedule and won't go on hold.

Star Ocean 4

Today Square Enix has announced their line-up on a Microsoft RPG event in Japan. The most striking news is that Star Ocean: The Last Hope (previously known as Star Ocean 4) will be released on the Xbox 360 in 2009. When asked if this game will the game will be released on the PlayStation 3 Yoshinori Yamagishi, producer of Square Enix, said, "We cannot announce anything on that. We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we'll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not."

Square Enix also released some high quality screenshots and the logo of the game.
