Star Ocean 4

Square Enix has released the first trailer of the upcoming game Star Ocean 4! In the trailer, which looks really nice, you see some scenes that were revealed three months ago in a couple of magazine scans.
The game will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive like announced before.

Today, 20 years ago, Final Fantasy was released on the NES. On 18 December 1987 gamers in Japan were able to play this RPG from Square which saved them from going out of business.

Now Final Fantasy is one of the most popular game series and the biggest RPG series. If you want more information about the series, I suggest you to watch The Final Fantasy Retrospective at Gametrailers. I'll write a history of Final Fantasy feature soon.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Yesterday Square Enix has revealed their lineup of games that will be released in North America in the first quarter of 2008 and one of those games is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII!

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors will be released in North America on 26 February 2008 for the Nintendo Wii. You can visit the official website here: http://na.square-enix.com/dqswords.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates will be released in North America on 11 March 2008 on the Nintendo DS. The official website can be found here: http://na.square-enix.com/ffccnews.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be released in North America on 25 March 2008 for the PlayStation Portable. On the official website you can look at a teaser of the game. The full website will be opened soon.

An other Square Enix game is The World Ends With You, which is an action RPG for the Nintendo DS that fully utilizes the capabilities and takes major influence from Japan’s modern day culture including its people, music, clothes, food and design. The game will be released this spring.

Square Enix

Recently a special DVD from Media Works has been released in Japan called CLOUD with trailers from Square Enix games. Under those trailers are one from Final Fantasy XIII and one from Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The footage in the trailers are seen in earlier trailers, but now they are in much higher quality.

For now you can watch the trailers at Gametrailers. They will be added to the website soon.

Square Enix has announced today that they will release Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings in Europe on 15 February 2008, exclusively on the Nintendo DS.

On the official European website of the game you can now only find the trailer. The main website will be opening soon.

Square Enix has updated their official website of the recent announced card game Lord of Vermilion with a special movie. In the movie you see in-game footage of the battles between drawn cards. The game will be playable soon in Japanese arcades.

Square Enix has announced their line-up for the upcoming Jump Festa 2008, that will take place on 22 and 23 December 2007 in Tokyo.

Jump Festa is an expo that's all about anime and manga, but also games will be displayed.

There's still not really much known about Star Ocean 4, which was announced last May at the Square Enix Party. Will Square Enix release some information or not?
