Final Fantasy XIII-2

Square Enix has released two high quality trailers from Final Fantasy XIII-2 that were shown on the Tokyo Game Show. The first one is the PlayStation 3 version, while the second one is the Xbox 360 version. In the trailer you can here the theme song of the game.

Square Enix has also announced that the game will be released in Japan on 15 December, in North America on 31 January and in Europe on 3 February. The game will be released on one disc, since more in-game scenes where used instead of FMV's.

Final Fantasy X

At Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference Shinji Hashimoto has announced that a HD port of Final Fantasy X will be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The HD release is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game that was released back in 2001 on the PlayStation 2.

Square Enix has released the first gameplay footage of the rhythm game Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. In the game that will be released on the Nintendo 3DS you have to hit the keys on the beat of classic music from past Final Fantasy titles.

The game will be playable on the Tokyo Game Show that starts this Thursday.

Earlier this week Square Enix held a press conference in Japan to release more information about the game in the Dragon Quest series that is currently in development: Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online.

Since the game was announced back in December 2008 almost nothing was known about the title, only that it will be released on the Nintendo Wii. The game will now also be released on the Nintendo Wii U and will be developed by Square Enix (not like VIII and IX that was developed by Level-5). Yosuke Saito (Nier) will be the producer.

The game takes place in the world of Astortia, which has 5 continents and 5 races. It will feature a job changing system. The game will also have a online feature, which have to paid extra for.

Dragon Quest X will be released in Japan in 2012.

Square Enix has announced their line-up for the Tokyo Game Show 2011 that this year takes place from 15 till 18 September.
