Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier will be released on 17 November 2021 on Android and Apple iOS devices for free with in-app purchases.

Set in Midgar 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Shinra is developing Project 0, the most elite fighting force ever known. After countless casaulties the first SOLDIERs have emerged.

The game is developed by Ateam Entertainment Inc. and is a battle royale game. Below you can watch the opening movie. You can pre-register the game on the official website.

Square Enix has announced that the pixel remaster version of Final Fantasy V will be released on 10 November 2021 on Steam, Android and iOS devices.

This version will feature the following improvements compared to the original version:

• Universally updated 2D pixel graphics, including the iconic Final Fantasy character designs created by Kazuko Shibuya, the original artist and current collaborator.
• Beautifully rearranged soundtrack in a faithful Final Fantasy style, overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu.
• Improved gameplay, including modernized UI, auto-battle options, and more!
• Dive into the world of the game with supplemental extras like the bestiary, illustration gallery, and music player.

Steam users can now pre-order the game with 20% off and during that time you'll receive three specially rearranged music tracks and two limited wallpapers. You can also get the bundle which contains all 6 games with the bonus items. Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI will be added when they're available.

During the Square Enix Presents Tokyo Game Show 2021 livestream Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for the battle royal game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. In the trailer the story of the game is explained and gameplay is shown of the different classes that are playable.

The game takes place 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy VII, before SOLDIER is active. Shinra is developing Project 0, the most elite fighting force ever known. After countless casaulties the first SOLDIERs have emerged.

Earlier today the Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier TGS 2021 special livestream was streamed. During the livestream Square Enix has announced that they plan to release the game in November 2021 with pre-registration starting this month. Square Enix has announced a brand new IP during Square Enix Presents Tokyo Game Show 2021 called Dungeon Encounters, a single-player dungeon explorarion RPG.

An otherworldly labyrinth has suddenly appeared on the outskirts of a quiet town. Make clever use of your abilities to chart the depths, overcome obstacles and defeat your foes in thrilling battles! During your expeditions, you'll discover rare and powerful items, meet lost adventurers who might just become new allies, and come face-to-face with deadly monsters. Do you have what it takes to overcome the numerous trials that await you and discover the dungeon's secrets?

The game is directed by Hiroyuki Ito, the creator of the Active Time Battle system in the Final Fantasy series. The producer is Hiroaki Kato (Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age). The characters are designed by Ryoma Ito and the soundtrack by Final Fantasy veteran Nobuo Uematsu.
