Square Enix has announced that they are working on a Valkyrie Profile game for the Nintendo DS. The game will be getting the title Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One and will tell the story about a young soldier who hates Valkyries.

So most likely the story will be a dark one, since you play with the 'bad guy' who gets more evil.

Square Enix has announced yesterday that they will take legal action against some companies that are selling unauthorized Final Fantasy stuff, like swords and other merchandise, games, movies, music etc. Those companies benefit from the success from the Final Fantasy series.

Square Enix took this action because the American border patrol seized a big crate of fake swords. These swords are very popular on action websites like eBay and Square Enix appreciates the enthusiasm of its fans.
