Bad news for Xbox 360 fanboys that want a Final Fantasy game (except for Final Fantasy XI) on their console. According to IGN there won't be any one soon. On a question if the Wii of Xbox 360 will get a Final Fantasy game, Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto said: "For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production. As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page."

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy and now producer at Mistwalker, said in an interview with GameSpot that Square Enix should publish the Final Fantasy games on the Xbox 360.

Hironobu Sakaguchi: "I feel that the Final Fantasy series should come to Xbox 360 as well. This is wise. It makes so much sense to me...it has so much potential in North America and in Europe. So there's a great chance for the series to succeed on 360 as well. And I heard they made the White Engine open platform as well."
