In the lead up to the 20th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series in 2022 Square Enix has announced that 10 Kingdom Hearts titles will make their debut on the Nintendo Switch. They will be released as three standalone cloud releases: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC) Cloud Version.

During Paris Games Week 2016 Square Enix and Disney have announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be re-released as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX on PlayStation 4 on 31 March 2017.

After a long wait Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix is finally here! In Europe the game is now available for purchase after North America got the game last Tuesday. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix contains Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (which was never released outside Japan), Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories (was never released in Europe) and cutscnes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This all has been remastered in HD with trophy support exclusively for PlayStation 3.

Square Enix has released a new Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix trailer today. This time it's a introduction trailer to the Kingdom Hearts series for newcomers to get introduced to the series. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix, which contains the HD enchanced versions of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (movies only and trophy support will be released on 10 September in North America and 13 September in Europe exclusively on PlayStation 3.

Today Square Enix has revealed the release dates of  in North America and Europe and they've also announced a limited edition which will be available for pre-order.

The game will be released in North America on 10 September and 3 days later in Europe. The limited edition features an artwork with 24 pages of behind-the-scenes imagery like character renders, promotional artwork and concept artwork from various Disney worlds from Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

In September 2012 Square Enix announced the HD collection Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for PlayStation 3 and it will be released in Japan on 14 March. Today Square Enix has announced that this collection will also be released in the United States and Europe this fall.

This collection contains the classic Kingdom Hearts game remastered in HD and will also contain additional weapons, enemies, skills and scenes from the Final Mix version that was previously only available in Japan. The other game that will be available is the HD version of Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, the PlayStation 2 version of the Game Boy Advance remake, that will be available for the first time in Europe. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is the last game in the collection, but will only feature the cutscenes. Also trophy support is included in this collection.

During the opening of Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show booth the company has announced Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX for PlayStation 3 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series.

This HD collection will consist of three games: Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (released in 2002 on PlayStation 2), Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories (released in 2007 on PlayStation 2) and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (released on Nintendo DS in 2009), which will NOT be the full game, only the cutscenes. Next to the HD upscaling, the collection will also feature trophy support.

The collection will be released somewhere in 2013 in Japan. No word about a western release.

Additionally to this Square Enix has also announced an online browser game with the work title Kingdom Hearts for PC browser.

Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories will be released in North America at 2 December, 2008 for the PlayStation 2. Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is the 3D remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the Game Boy Advance and fills the gap between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. The game was released in Japan in March 2007 together with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+.

Square Enix has also released the box art of the North American version on their members blog and a little teaser website has been opened.

V-JUMP has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, originally released exclusively to the Gameboy Advance, is being fully remade for a release on PlayStation 2.

Not much is known about the remake thus far, but we can all expect to see Organization members such as Zexion and Larxene completely remade also. It's not known if the Card-Battle system will make a return as well, but it's to be expected.
