Final Fantasy VII Revelation at Gamescom Opening Night Live

Square Enix has confirmed on social media that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live on 25 August 2026 at 20:00 CEST (11:00 PT / 13:00 ET / 19:00 BST). Naoki Hamaguchi, game director of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, will also join the stage. The show is hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the third and final episode of the remake of Final Fantasy VII. Cloud Strife and his loyal companions face a world that teeters on the brink of annihilation. Grieving a beloved ally, and with their nemesis Sephiroth nearing godhood, the party takes to the skies aboard the airship Highwind in a race against time to stop Meteor, the ultimate destructive magic, and the total obliteration of the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be released in Spring 2027 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and XBOX PC.
