On 31 January 1997, today 29 years ago, Final Fantasy VII was released on the original PlayStation, the first game in the series not to be released on a Nintendo console. To celebrate this day Square Enix has published early concept art from Final Fantasy VII and a special message from Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura.
