Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn announced

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV Version 2.0 has been dubbed as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Version 2.0 was announced last October and is a rebuild of the original MMORPG after it was received very bad and Square Enix decided to change the team developing the game.

Naoki Yoshida, Producer/Director: Since announcing our plans for the future of the title last October, we have been working tirelessly to include all of the elements that we have promised in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, which we announced today. This new title not only becomes a symbol of a completely new FINAL FANTASY XIV, but also marks the beginning of a new stage as the latest title in the FINAL FANTASY series. I hope you’re looking forward to it!

With this announcement the new website has been launced and a new CG trailer has been released.
