Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX coming to PlayStation 4

During Paris Games Week 2016 Square Enix and Disney have announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be re-released as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX on PlayStation 4 on 31 March 2017.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX collector's edition revealed

With only less than a month away till Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX (the HD versions of Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded) will be released in North America and Europe, Square Enix has announced this week that it will get a collector's editon.

This collector's editon will contain the following items:

  • Shadow Heartsless Plush Toy (24 cm);
  • 30 Page hardcover artbook;
  • Steelbook case (with both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX);
  • Exclusive Disney collectible pin.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX collector's editon

This collector's edition can be purchased from the Square Enix Online Store if you live in the UK or France. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be released on 2 December in North America and 5 December in Europe.

Square Enix has released a new trailer of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX showing the new features in the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Both Final Mix versions will be included with cinematics of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and will be released in North America on 2 December and Europe on 5 December.

Square Enix has released the E3 2014 trailer of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX and has announced that this HD collection will be released on 2 December 2014 in North America and 5 December 2014 in Europe exclusively for PlayStation 3. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX contains the HD remastered versions of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix and movie scenematics of Kingdom Hearts re:coded.

The trailer also contains a teaser of Kingdom Hearts III, which is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A couple of days ago the Jump Festa took place in Japan (which is an annual exposition showing new anime, manga and also games). During the event a new trailer has been revealed of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX showing in-game footage of the 3 games (Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (cinematics only) that are included in this HD version.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is stated for a release somewhere next year.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX announced!

At the very first D23 Fan Expo in Japan Square Enix has announced that next year they will release Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for PlayStation 3. This will contain Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: Final Mix and cinematic story videos of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded all in HD with trophy support. Both Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts II (which was originally released in 2005 on PlayStation 2) and Birth By Sleep (which was released in 2010 on PlayStation Portable) will be available for the first time in the west. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a remake from the mobile game Kingdom Hearts coded which was released in 2010 on Nintendo DS.

The first trailer has also been launced and you can vist the Japanese website.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded out now!

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded has been released 2 days ago in North America and Europe will (officialy) get the game tomorrow.

This Nintendo DS game is a remake of Kingdom Hearts coded, which was released only in Japan on the DoCoMo mobile phone back in 2008. It takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts II.

Three new Kingdom Hearts titles announced!

During Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show presentation the company announced that they are working on 3 new Kingdom Hearts titles bringing the series to the Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable and mobile phones.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (logo)

A PlayStation Portable game which looks to be a single-player game and tells the story of three new characters who are searching for the Keyblade master.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (logo)

A Nintendo DS game which will feature Roxas and Axel in both single-player and multiplayer missions and will be in fully 3D.

Kingdom Hearts: Coded (logo)

A mobile phone game which is set after the events of the first Kingdom Hearts game. The game will most likely only be released on Japanese mobile phones.
