To celebrate the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 next week Square Enix has temporary reduced the price of Final Fantasy titles that are available in the European PlayStation Store.

PlayStation Plus members will receive an extra 10% off and starting 8 February Final Fantasy V will be available for free for PlayStation Plus members.

Final Fantasy VIII

While American fans can download Final Fantasy VIII from PlayStation Network for a month now, European fans are still waiting for an European release date, untill last week.

Mike Kebby from SCEE commented on the European PlayStation Blog that the game is released on 4 February.

"FF8 is coming on the 4th of February, this is a confirmed date now. Hooray!"

If you haven't played this game, you should. It's a classic.
