Square Enix has revealed the E3 2013 trailer of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII showing returning characters and gameplay from the final game in the Lightning saga. Hopefully a new Final Fantasy game will be announced or finally information about Final Fantasy Versus XIII (rename to Final Fantasy XV?).

During Nintendo's E3 Press Conference Nintendo has announced that Square Enix is working on a new Kingdom Hearts game that is called Kingdom Hearts 3D. It will be developed for the recently announced Nintendo 3DS.

Also announced for the new platform is Chocobo Racing.

Square Enix has announced their lineup for the E3 2010, which will start next Tuesday.

  • The 3rd Birthday (PlayStation Portable)
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC)
  • Dungeon Siege III
  • Final Fantasy XIV (PlayStation 3 and PC)
  • Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (Nintendo DS)

  • Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC)
  • Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PlayStation Portable)
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (Nintendo DS)

Shinji Hashimoto announced earlier that a new Kingdom Hearts game will be revealed at the E3. Well, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, seems to be it. It's not a new game, it's just a remake of Kingdom Hearts coded, which is only released in Japan on mobile phones. Kind a disappointment...

At Microsoft E3 Press Conference that is currently taking place Yoshinori Kitase and Motomu Toriyama appeared on stage to show the first footage of Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360. The demo featured the English interface and voice acting. They also showed the summon Odin for the first time in the world.

Kitase announced that they expect to release the game in Spring 2010.

Update: For the fans that missed the press conference, you can watch the demo here (with thanks to GameTrailers).
