Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration this Thursday

Recently Square Enix has announced that they will be streaming the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday 16 June 2022 at 15:00 PDT /  23:00 BST. In the show the latest information relating to the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII will be shown.

On Twitter, Tetsuya Nomura, director of Final Fantasy VII Remake, said the following:

“We will be streaming “FINAL FANTASY VII 25th Anniversary Celebration”. At only around 10 minutes long, it will be short and sweet, but we have packed in lots of information, so I hope everyone can look forward to the unveiling.”

Final Fantasy VII was released in Japan on 31 January 1997 on the original PlayStation. In 2020 Final Fantasy VII Remake was released covering the first section of the original in the city of Midgar.
