Square Enix has announced that they've have started a massive Final Fantasy sale in the European PlayStation Store. Almost all available games in the Final Fantasy series are 50% off. PlayStation Plus users receive an additional 10% (which actually is a total of 55% off!).  Here's the full list of games on offer:

Square Enix has announced that Europe will get a special edition of the game Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy that will be released on 25 March 2011 together with the regular version.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy Legacy Edition

The Legacy Edition is it called and it will contain the game with specially designed boxart, 6 character art lithographs, exclusive downloadable costumes for Tifa and Squall and the voucher for 50% off Final Fantasy.

The game will be released in North America on 23 March.

Here are all the announcements from the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier that took place a couple of hours ago in Japan.

The biggest disappointment was that there's still no release date for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, while Final Fantasy XIII-2 will already be released this year.
All the trailers that were shown at the event will be released on 27 January, except Final Fantasy XIII-2, which will be available this Thursday.

Square Enix has revealed the Jump Festa trailer of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

In the long trailer there's a lot of Japanese talking which I don't understand, but if you look at the video closely you'll see the legs of Summoner Yuna (at 4:37) which will be one of the new characters in the game.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy will be released in Japan on 3 March 2011.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump a new characters has been revealed for Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy. Meet Laguna Loire from Final Fantasy VIII!

Laguna Loire is the temporary character you play through flashbacks who is a member of the Galbadian Army and his weapon is the machine gun. According to the scan he can use it while running and as extra he features a rocket luncher.

Square Enix has announced that 4 PlayStation Portable games will be released in Europe in early 2011.

The first game that will be released in February 2011 is Lord of Arcana, a new action game where up to 4 players can team-up to slay the darkest daemons. Arriving shortly after that is Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, a remake from the PSone game that was released back in 1995.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, the sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy will hit Europe as third and The 3rd Birthday will be the last game to be released this spring.

All games, except Lord of Arcana, will have a special edition. Full details and exact release date will be announced soon.
