Square Enix has announced that they've have started a massive Final Fantasy sale in the European PlayStation Store. Almost all available games in the Final Fantasy series are 50% off. PlayStation Plus users receive an additional 10% (which actually is a total of 55% off!).  Here's the full list of games on offer:

One game that is missing from this list is the PSP version of Final Fantasy III. Also the DLC of Final Fantasy XIII-2 is not in this sale.

PlayStation Plus members will receive an extra 10% off and starting 8 February Final Fantasy V will be available for free for PlayStation Plus members.

In the latest Weekly Shonen Jump Square Enix has announced that Dissidia: Final Fantasy will get a sequel.

Dissidia [duodecim] 012: Final Fantasy

According to the logo of the game it's called Dissidia [duodecim] 012: Final Fantasy. Two playable characters have been confirmed: Kain from Final Fantasy IV and Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII.

Let's hope more will be seen about this game at next week's Tokyo Game Show.

If you can't wait for Dissidia: Final Fantasy, you can now download the demo from the American PlayStation Network. In the demo you can play as Onion Knight, Cecil, Terra, Cloud, and Sephiroth. The demo is 78 MB in size.

When the demo will be released in the European store is unknown.

Square Enix has finally set a release date for Dissidia: Final Fantasy in Europe. You can mark 4 September as the day that the game will be released in Europe and all other PAL territories exclusively for PlayStation Portable.

Also a limited edition of the game will be available which contains clamshell packaging, the game, best selection soundtrack, a 48-page artwork book, official miniguide from Brady Games and 2 lithograph prints.

Sony has announced that they will release a Dissidia: Final Fantasy Limited Edition Entertainment Pack in the United States. The pack contains a mystic silver PSP-3000, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children UMD and a 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.

The pack will be available starting 25 August at Gamestop and will have a retail price of $199 USD. It is unknown if Europe will also get this pack.

A few days ago Square Enix has released the United States Debut trailer of Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

This PlayStation Portable game will be released in the United States this Summer. Europe will follow in Autumn.

Today Square Enix has announced that they will release Dissidia: Final Fantasy in Europe this Autumn exclusively for the PlayStation Portable.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a fighting game featuring a large cast of Final Fantasy characters; heroes like Terra, Cloud, Zidane and Tidus and villains like Kefka, Sephiroth, Kuja en Jecht.

The full cast of Dissidia: Final Fantasy has been leaked thanks to Suntory who is releasing Potion drinks from the game.


Heroes: Warrior of Light, Firion, Onion Knight, Cecil Harvey, Bartz Klauser, Terra Branford, Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, Zidane Tribal and Tidus.

Villains: Garland, Emperor Palamecia, Cloud of Darkness, Golbez, ExDeath, Kefka Palazzo, Sephiroth, Sorceress Ultimecia, Kuja and Jecht.

Square Enix has released the first trailer of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. In the trailer you see an impression of the battles that look a lot like Kingdom Hearts II. Also during the battle you see Zidane and Kuja in their Trance forms and at the end of the trailer you see Sephiroth, who might be in the game too.
