Final Fantasy XII

Today, Final Fantasy XII has finally hit North American stores after 4 years of making! There are two versions available; the normal version which is available at your local gamestore for $49,99 USD and the collector's edition, which can only be bought at EBgames.com and Gamestop if you pre-ordered it.
So go get the game fast before its sold out!

The Japanese magazine Otona Fami 2006 has released some details about the progress of various projects Square Enix is currently working on:

- Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3): 13%
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PlayStation 3): 1.3%
- Itadaki Street DS (Nintendo DS): 50%
- Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (PlayStation 2): 40%
- Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix (PlayStation 2): 130% (2 games)

So don't expect to be playing Final Fantasy XIII soon.

Square Enix

Square Enix has opened their official Japanese Final Fantasy VI Advance website. On it you can find information about the game, storyline, characters and battle system.

Final Fantasy VI Advance will be released in Japan on November 30th.

According to the Norwegian website Gamereactor Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII will hits European stores on November 3rd. This release date has been confirmed by Square Enix.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and is a action-shooter with Vincent as main hero.

Still haven't played Final Fantasy XI? Here's an interesting offer for you.
Square Enix will release the second collection of Final Fantasy XI, called the Vana'diel Collection 2007, for Windows on November 7th for only $29,99 USD. In the collection package you'll find the original game plus the three expansions (Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, and Treasures of Aht Urhgan) on one DVD. Also included are an exclusive fold-out map of Vana'diel with mini walkthroughs to help new players get started and a Vana'diel Buddy Pass to invite a friend to try Final Fantasy XI free for 30 days.

If the collection will also be available in Europe is unknown.

In a brochure from Square Enix, which has only been released in Japan, a poster of Fablua Nova Crystallis is located. On that poster you can see a new female character under the Final Fantasy Agito XIII logo. Most likely this new female character will only be playable in this mobile game.

Square Enix

Amazon Japan has released a promo movie of the upcoming GameBoy Advance games Final Fantasy V & VI Advance. The promo shows ingame screens and artwork of the games.
