Today, Final Fantasy XII has finally hit North American stores after 4 years of making! There are two versions available; the normal version which is available at your local gamestore for $49,99 USD and the collector's edition, which can only be bought at EBgames.com and Gamestop if you pre-ordered it.
So go get the game fast before its sold out!

Today Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XII will be released early 2007 in Europe.

John Yamamoto, President and CEO of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “We are very excited to be bringing FINAL FANTASY XII to Europe and PAL territories next year. The game has been a massive success in Japan and looks set to become one of the crowning glories of PlayStation 2.”

When an exact release date has been announced, we'll let you know.

Final Fantasy XII

Square Enix confimed in the latest issue of the japanese magazine Shonen Jump that a spin-off of Final Fantasy XII called FFXII Revenant Wing is being develloped for the Nintendo DS.

After a couple of days delay the Official North American Final Fantasy XII website has opened! On the website you can find information about the game, the characters and the world called Ivalice. At the mutimedia section you can download buddy icons for AIM and watch a trailer.

Final Fantasy XII will be released in North America on October 31st.

Square Enix has put their official North American Final Fantasy XII website online! On it you can see a NEW trailer, a countdown when the full website will be online and the characters. You should check the site out, it's a really nice flash site.

Final Fantasy XII

Yesterday Square Enix has announced the official release date for Final Fantasy XII in North America. The game will be released on October 31st, 2006 and will be exclusive for PlayStation 2.

A limited edition of the game will be available exclusively at GameStop and EB Games stores. Housed within special packaging, the bonus DVD offers Japanese and American promotional trailers, in-depth developer interviews, an art gallery and featurettes focusing on highlights of the Final Fantasy franchise.

Final Fantasy XII will have a retail price of $49.99 (USD) and $59.99 (USD) for the Collector's Edition.

On the American gameshow G4 a Final Fantasy XII trailer has been shown with English voices. The trailer has been recorded with a digicam from TV, so don't expect big quality. It's more about the voices.

Final Fantasy XII

The Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack will be released in Japan on April 19th and will consists of 4 discs containing over 100 tracks composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, including songs that did not make it into the game. The first edition of the album will ship in a special DVD case and contain a special 28-page booklet. The album will cost 3,800 yen ($32.36 US).

The day has finally come for the Japanese Final Fantasy fans. The new installment in the Final Fantasy series; Final Fantasy XII has been released after 5 years of production on the game.

When the game will be released in the United States and Europe is still unknown.

Final Fantasy XII

Square Enix has revamped their Final Fantasy XII website and reopened it yesterday. Also more information about 2 new characters have been released named Vayne and Larsa.

Vayne Carudas Solidor is the 27 years old son of Gramis, the 11th emperor of Arcadia and heir to the throne. His father has 4 children, from which Vayne is the third. However his 2 older brothers died in battle.
Larsa is 12 years old and is the fourth son of Gramis and Vayne younger brother. He's second in line of the throne and tries hard to gain the respect of his father and older brother.

Final Fantasy XII will be released in Japan on March 16, 2006.
