Lufia game will be remake of Lufia II
Submitted by Zidane007nl on 20 November 2009, 18:26In the latest Famitsu Square Enix has announced that the new Lufia game The Lands Cursed by the Gods will be a remake of Lufia II and will be released on the Nintendo DS.
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals was orginally released in 1996 on the Super Nintendo and was an turn based RPG. The remake will be an action RPG, and will feature 3D graphics and voice acting. The game will be released in Japan on 25 February 2010.
The official website will be launced on the 25th.
Square Enix is working on a new Lufia game
Submitted by Zidane007nl on 13 November 2009, 14:38In the upcoming issue of Famitsu Square Enix has announced that a new game in the Lufia series is coming. The game will be developed by the same team who did the first game.
In 1993 Lufia and the Fortress of Doom was released on the SNES and 2 years later Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. They were developed by Neverland and released by Taito. But since Taito has been taken over by Square Enix they will release the new game in the series.
