¤ The Flying Squirrels

You get them by fighting on the worldmap with your hero alone (or with Mukumuku if you want).
After a LONG while, a flying squirrel appears and helps you. Then it joins.

You can get Mukumuku earlier, though.

In Kyaro. Before you enter the hero's home and see Nanami, go north until you see a large tree. "talk" to it 3 times. After the third time, Mukumuku follows the hero and he joins.
All the other squirrels are recruited in the way explained above.

¤ McDohl and Rulodia

Abizboah's girl, Rulodia, can be recruited by using a "Listening Crystal". I don't know where, and I don't know if Abizboah needs to be in your team.
But if you recruit her, she won't appear on the Tablet of Promise, meaning she's not a real ally! She's just an extra!

McDohl, the hero of Suikoden 1, can also be recruited. I forgot how to get him, but you need to load your Suikoden 1 data when you start the game.
Just like Rulodia, he's an extra. He won't appear on the Tablet of Promise.

If you recruit Rulodia, you can't get all 108 characters!!!
There are 2 "Listening Crystals" and 3 animals you can recruit. (Feather, Sigfried and Abizboah)
There are 2 places for animals on the Tablet of Promise. You may choose which one you don't want.
Since Rulodia doesn't appear on the Tablet, and you need a "Listening Crystal" to get her..........you can't get all 108 Stars of Destiny!
