Masashi Hamauzu leaves Square Enix

Submitted by Zidane007nl on 20 January 2010, 13:46

Masashi Hamauzu, the composer of Final Fantasy XIII has left Square Enix. There's an exodus going on at the sound team, since Kenichiro Fukui en Junya Nakano left the company before Hamauzu.

Masashi Hamauzu

Masashi Hamauzu composed the soundtrack of games like Tobal No. 1, SaGa Frontier 2, Final Fantasy X, Unlimited SaGa, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and his latest work Final Fantasy XIII, which he was praised for. He also worked on the International version of the game.

Square Enix can look for a new sound team, since this is not the last composer that will leave the company.
